Altha- Pre Production

 For my next environment I will be working from a concept from Devlin Arduini called Altha. I will be putting into practice all that I have learned from my experiences and hope to learn new techniques and programs in the process. The key focus of the project is to develop my attention to detail, composition and asset creation. But most importantly to have fun!

During my preproduction phase I will be analyzing and breaking down the concept into core pieces that will define my assets, materials, and vfx. A lot of the reference I pulled is a mix of game reference (The Bar of quality I wish to achieve) and real-world reference (To give the environment believability). As I continue to work on this project I will be adding more real world reference for other details such as rubble/rock placement, pathing, and lighting.

Some programs I am going to use for this project involves Blender, Substance Designer, Unreal Engine, and World Machine. I will also be using Marmoset to capture some assets for separate post. Let's get to it!
